The ‘Spirit of Wicklow Community Award’ came to Kilbride GAA at Powerscourt Distillery with Diarmuid Haughian bringing home the prize as overall Community Award winner for his tireless efforts in bringing the community together through his leadership of the Kilbride GAA Club. Completely deserved – congratulations Diarmuid! Great to see your work being recognised at such a level.
‘Diarmuid Haughian has revitalised the community spirit in Manor Kilbride by leading the creation of a GAA sports ground, a children’s playground, and a community café. His tireless fundraising and dedication have provided a vital hub for the local community, fostering a sense of togetherness and pride.
