BOOM!!! Grant Approval for over €135,000 for the Club….Absolutely Incredible….almost 300K in Grants in 2022

Yes, the Club have just secured funding to the tune of over €135,000 – and so, its full steam ahead for the Accessible Playground for Manor Kilbride and the completion and tarmacing of the Club’s Car Park including an accessible Picnic Bench.
Who would have thought the community of would have access to a world class Playground in Manor Kilbride 4 years ago??? And so the Playground expected completed date is earmarked for St Patricks day next year.
Providers have already been selected, pricing secured and agreed, so it is full steam ahead for a Paddy’s Day Playground Party!!
However, we still have a target of 40K which must be raised by the Club to makeup the project shortfall. So, try and support the Club in any way you can.
Exciting times for the young children in the village and surrounding areas.
And here is the Playground Design:
The Club have agreed on the above playground design, which includes:
- Sandpit
- Toddler Playhouse/Slide
- Seat Junior Playset
- Inclusive Multipurpose Seesaw
- Seat Carousel
- Station Agility Trail
- Tower Senior Multi Activity Unit
- Seat Seesaw
- Combination Swing Set (2 Flat Seat & 1.2 Metre Basket)
- All Swing with anti-wrap bearings
Huge thanks to Alison Keogh at County Wicklow Partnership
Huge thanks to Alison Keogh at County Wicklow Partnership who helped me throughout the process and was a Godsend with regards to the paperwork, which was an awful lot! But well worth the effort. Alison, thank you very much, you were brilliant throughout and thank you for supporting our cause.
I would also like to mention the help and assitance Ciara Beattie provided with regards to the Playground Design and Specification.
