The Ciaran Jones Memorial Cup & Golf Classic Presentation – this Friday and Saturday – 8PM Match & 9PM in The Avon
ack after a long absence, try your best to support. The Ciaran Jones Memorial Cup is up for grabs this Friday in Blessington under lights. With Kilbride taking on Blessington at 8PM.
UNFORTUNATEY – MATCH IS POSTPONED, we hope to run the match early next year.
Also The Ciaran Jones Golf Classic presentation and Raffle on Saturday the 24th at 9PM in The Avon
Social Night to remember Ciaran and also the Ciaran Jones person of the year will also be announced. Everyone Welcome.
Ciaran was the Club Captain and a County Player who tragically lost his life at the young age of 25 in 2011. Ciarán was swept away at the Ballysmuttan Bridge as he came to the aid of motorists during torrential rain and flooding. A tragic loss. Ciaran captained the Club to the Junior title in 2007.
